Dalam tugas IBD kali ini, pada Bab Manusia dan Kegelisahan baru membahas tentang sub bab Ketidakpastian.
Ketidakpastian artinya suatu keadaan yang artinya tidak menentu, tidak tahu, tidak dapat ditentukan, atau tidak tahu asal-usul yang jelas. Ketidakpastian disebabkann oleh berbagai sebab, dan terutama ketika pikirannya sedang tidak jelas. Orang yang pikrannya sedang terganggu tidak dapat lagi berpikir apalagi mengambil suatu keputusan. Karena dalam berpikir, manusia menerima atau memerlukan ransangan-ransangan lain.
Beberapa sebab orang tidak dapat berpikir secara pasti atau terjadinya ketidakpastian yaitu :
1. Obsesi
Suatu gejala dimana didalam diri orang tersebut hanya ada pikiran atau perasaan tertentu yang terus-menerus diingatnya tanpa mengetahui sebab-sebabnya
2. Phobia
Rasa ketakutan yang berlebihan atau tidak normal kepada sesuatu hal tanpa diketahui pula sebab-sebabnya
3. Kompulasi
Adanya keragu-raguan tentang apa yang telah dikerjakan, sehingga tanpa sadar melakukan perbuatan serupa berulang-ulang atau terus-menerus
4. Histeria
Neorosa jiwa yang disebabkan oleh tekanan mental, kekecewaan, kelemahan syaraf, pengalaman pahit yang menekan, tidak mampu menguasai diri.
5. Delusi
Menunjukkan pada pikiran yang tidak beres, yang tidak sesuai dengna kenyataan atau tidak memakai akal sehat
6. Halusinasi
Khayalan yang terjadi tanpa ransangan pancaindera, seperti dengan sugesti diri orang.
7. Keadaan emosi
Keadaan ini sangat berpengaruh pada keseluruhan pribadi seseorang. Misalnya jika emosi kita sedang sedih maka sikap kita pun dapat menjadi tidak bersemangat, gelisah, suka mengeluh dna tidak mau berbicara.
